The object detection is also an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles however, it got stuck on a rug with tassels, and needed to turn to release itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those in need of an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do everything.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubbers. Its navigation system was efficient. It stayed clear of stairs and navigated close to walls without crashing. It had trouble with small particles and did not always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise is also high, so it may be a less reliable set-and-forget model than others.
Like most robotic vacuums and mop cleaners, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can refill its clean water as well as empty its dustbin and mop pad, as well as wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easier and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with an established schedule. Eufy's application lets you manage all the functions. It uses laser mapping and a camera to make a map of your home and knows where not to go. It has an object/obstacle detector that can avoid things like toys and dog bowls (but not Poop), unlike many vacuums.
It also comes with other notable features, like an automatic emptying dustbin and a mop pad that's self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas other mops miss. You can also set cleaning schedules within the app and adjust the settings for each room in your home.
It has the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can differentiate between carpets and laminate with high-pile carpets. If you're looking to cut down on time, it can even skip cleaning rooms that aren't soiled. If you have a wide range of flooring in your home and don't wish to spend more money on a Roborock with advanced mapping capabilities it is a great choice.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great choice if you are looking for a versatile robot that can perform regular daily maintenance and touch-ups for messy water stains. It comes with a wide range of features such as a self-emptying dustbin and a separate dock for refilling water, and customizable settings via the app. It's extremely quiet and can maneuver between furniture legs and socks with ease. It's not able to remove knotted rug tassels and it's battery drains slightly faster than other models in our tests.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a beast that comes with powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek. It didn't do as well in our mopping and mopping tests as the expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, but it still performed very well overall. It comes with a variety of cleaning modes, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet mode for light debris to the powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to remove and reconnect the mop pads, and not leave your carpets soaked.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used in smaller areas. It's quiet and quick and does a great job of navigating tight spots. It also does a very excellent job of pulling pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than most of its competitors however it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a decent amount of suction power and it can be configured to take a photo of every object it finds (i.e. chew toys,, socks) and mark them as 'not found' in the app so that they aren't taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure and aren't linked to your account.
It is capable of vaccuming, but it isn't quite as efficient at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that you clip to the bot's bottom, and it essentially drags them across your floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal, which have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
